THE Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association has recruited Alan Bird as development manager following his departure from the Retail Motor Industry Federation.

VBRA managing director Ron Nicholson said: 'We are pleased to welcome Alan to the association. His widespread knowledge of the repair industry will assist us as we look forward to some exciting new initiatives in the near future.'
