Closed sale proves a success for Mitsubishi

MITSUBISHI has held its first ever closed auction, selling 135 management vehicles for a total of £1.7 million. The auction was held at BRS Car Auctions, Coventry, and featured several new models making their used car debut including the Carisma, the manufacturer's main fleet contender.

Some 89 dealers attended, paying up to 103% of Glass's Guide prices for Carisma, 109% for the new Colt, 97% for the Spacewagon, 105% for the Galant, 120% for the five-door Shogun and 106% for the 3000 GT.

In the past BRS Car Auctions has staged inaugural sales for both Mercedes-Benz and Honda and it has gone on to develop partnerships with companies which now embrace electronic sales.
