Jaguar XK8 sales soar

JAGUAR'S stunning new XK8 is proving a roaring success for the British maker. Some 1,825 models have been sold worldwide in October, boosting the monthly total to 4,385, a 39% increase over last year.

In the UK, 391 XK8s were sold last month, making a sports car increase of 721% for Jaguar, as only 48 XJSs were sold in October last year. US sales hit a 10-year record of 2,254 cars and 50 special edition XK8s offered through the luxury Neiman Marcus catalogue sold out within 72 hours!
