DAIHATSU is attempting to reverse its sales decline with another reorganisation of its management team and a new emphasis on dealer service standards. Marketing director Richard de Leyser is leaving the company, and his role will be taken by managing director Paul Williams.

Both Williams and De Leyser were promoted last November following the departure of previous managing director Tony Darwell-Smith. The company is planning to launch the new Move minicar and a new off-road vehicle in the near future.
