VAUXHALL Master Hire has announced four separate contracts worth around £2 million - the largest being a £1.5 million deal for more than 100 vehicles. Those vehicles, the majority of which are Vectras and Omegas, will be supplied to the Rigblast Group, a multi-discipline service company related to the oil industry, by Aberdeen Vauxhall dealer SVL Aberdeen through a leasing agreement.

Borehamwood-based Ridgehill Housing Association has signed a deal with Vauxhall Master Hire to replace its fleet with 17 Vauxhall vans - 11 Combo Merits, three Corsas and three Bravas.

Meanwhile, the leasing company has won the contract to supply a fleet of Astras by meeting a mobile communications company's high-mileage needs. Master Hire came out on top after Suffolk-based FenFones examined the options for expanding its fleet of engineers' vehicles. And Construction Services, part of Cumbria County Council, has taken delivery of a fleet of 30 Vauxhall Astra cars. The cars will operate over a three year/60,000 mile replacement cycle.
