FLEET cars are being targeted by the Renault Retail Group which is aiming to give used car dealers a better name by opening the first franchise-backed used car retailing operation in Europe. The importer has developed a £2.5 million used car supermarket at a high-profile location at Willenhall in the West Midlands which will ultimately sell 3,000 cars a year.

Open seven days a week until 10pm on weekdays, Autoworld will also carry out servicing in-house and finance will be available on most models through Renault Financial Services. Vehicles are split into nine sectors according to price - each of which is colour-coded throughout the show space to help buyers recognise which vehicles are within their budgets.

Stock will be sourced from auctions, daily rental companies and fleet operators as well as the Renault Retail Group, with a wide spread of makes, models and ages available. Demand in each of the sectors will be monitored and supply adjusted accordingly to ensure rapid turnover of stock.
