FLEETS which use the RAC for breakdown and recovery will benefit from a new computerised finance and administration system which is now entering its second phase. The £1 million system called RAC Commercial Respond has been two years in development and phase one went on line in December last year for subscription paying customers. Now pay-on-use subscribers can use the service.

RAC Commercial Respond offers the accurate production of incident reports, account histories and invoices, enabling managers to identify 'rogue' characteristics early on and the system also allows fleets to keep a firmer grip on budgets and forecasts, leading in turn to cash savings.
