£2 million lease deal for Ixion

COVENTRY-based contract hire company Ixion Vehicle Contracts won a £2 million deal to supply 144 cars to facilities support company Shafer of Newbury.

The dealer group offshoot secured a 28 vehicle sale and leaseback deal and also took the contract to supply 116 new cars and vans on full maintenance contract hire over the next two years.

Shafer general manager Peter Foale said: 'We selected Ixion ahead of the other companies because they not only provided value for money, but they approached us as partners, fully understanding our problems, and resolved everything quickly and professionally.'
