New engines and improved spec for SEAT Ibiza

MULTI-POINT 1.4 litre engines feature alongside improved specification for the new 1996 model SEAT Ibizas with prices starting at £8,195 on the road. All models also feature a high level rear brake light and front seatbelt pretensioners along with new trim materials, a five speed gearbox and a six speaker RDS radio cassette system.

Peak torque goes up by 5 lb ft to 85 lb ft at 2,800 rpm, while peak power remains unchanged at 60 bhp albeit achieved at 500 rpm less. Salsa models gain body coloured bumpers, electric windows and a rear spoiler in addition to the standard sunroof, immobiliser, driver's airbag, power steering, central locking and rear wash/wipe. Prices there start at £9,195 on the road.
