Thames Valley police try out new Toledo

AN air conditioned SEAT Toledo 1.6 SE has gone on trial with the Thames Valley Police. The loan car is fully equipped with blue beacon, siren, reflective livery and radio, while safety is enhanced by twin airbags and front seatbelt pretensioners.

The Toledo 1.9 Diesel has already enjoyed fleet success with 120 of them now in service with the AA. In 1.6 SE guise the Toledo is powered by a 75 bhp engine and has an on-the-road price of £12,095 which includes sunroof, power steering, electric front windows, central locking, RDS radio/cassette and an anti-theft immobiliser.
