FCM plugs in to LEB card deal

FLEET Cost Management has won the contract to supply fuel cards to London Electricity's fleet. The capital's largest power provider chose FCM's fleet card to cash in on the savings afforded by the petrol price war currently being waged by the major retailers.

Procurement manager Mike Donohoe said: 'The number of fuel outlets available in the Greater London area was also a feature that attracted us to the fleet card, as was the elimination of vehicles returning to our limited number of depots for fuel and washing facilities. London Electricity previously used multiple fuel card suppliers, but the FCM deal covers the vast majority of the 1,600-vehicle fleet.
