Launched for August, the ZX Elation S starts at £9,990 complete with power steering, electric sunroof, central locking, driver's airbag, engine immobiliser, metallic paint and front fog lamps. As with all ZX models, the Elation S is available with free finance, a free mobile phone - and Citroen pays the £557 on the road charges.

The similarly equipped and priced ZX Dimension offers a range of metallic colours, three, five door and Estate body styles and 1.4 petrol, 1.9 diesel and 1.9 turbodiesel engines. Free insurance and an all inclusive price of £6,450 makes the AX Dimension 1.0 litre a run-out bargain.
