Solair name adds aircon and spec to Toyotas

TOYOTA has launched a summer special range of Solair SE models featuring air conditioning and enhanced specification. The Corolla Solair SE has colour-keyed bumpers, mirrors, door handles and side mouldings, white dials and new seat trim. For the first time in its 30 year history, a Corolla now features air conditioning as standard.

Based on the standard 1.3 GS model the Solair SE comes as a three-door at £12,085, five-door at £12,595 and five-door automatic at £13,245 (all including £430 on the road charges). Carina Solair SE adds alloy wheels to the air conditioning with a specification between GS and CD models. Prices are: 1.6, £13,429; 1.8, £14,565 and 1.8 automatic, £15,429. A Previa Solair SE MPV is priced at £23,755.
