Rover 200s roar in for first auction success

THE Rover 200 has made its auction debut with 30 N-registered models fetching an average 90% of retail prices at a special Rover closed sale at ADT Auctions Measham.

More than 80 dealerships were represented and all the models and colours in the 200 range were featured in both three and five-door versions with 1.4 and 1.6 petrol and 2.0 diesel variants on offer. Top price was achieved by a 214i three door model in British racing green which sold for 96.3% of retail price, while a 220SDi five door in nightfire red realised £12,500 or 94% of retail price.
