Vauxhall makes fleet friends with £5m deal

VAUXHALL MasterHire Leasing has won the contract to supply more than £5 million worth of Vectras and Astras to Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society. After comparing the wholelife costs, security features and nationwide dealer support, Liverpool Victoria decided to choose Vauxhall and hand over its national fleet management operation for the company's 350 personal financial advisors' cars to Master Hire.

Fleet manager Roger Clinch said: 'We wanted a single badge fleet for our financial advisors and, because they are based all over the UK, it was vital that this was supported by a comprehensive dealership network. Having recently made a £188 million acquisition of the Frizzell Group, which will further increase our activities in personal financial planning, we also wished to take the opportunity to outsource all PFA fleet management functions to a company which was keen to develop a close working partnership with us. Vauxhall has delivered a comprehensive package which meets all our criteria.'
