BCC powers ahead with off-road deal

BRITISH Car Contracts is to supply Powergen with a fleet of off-roaders for use during the construction of its massive new distribution site at Hams Hall. BCC is providing four Land Rover Defender 90s and two 110 County Station Wagons on full contract hire, which will be used to transport project managers and consulting engineers around the 890-acre Hams Hall site.

The project is set to become the UK's largest distribution, warehousing and manufacturing site and will include the Midlands Channel Tunnel Rail Freight Terminal - set to open next spring.
