Rosset has worked in journalism since 1989, when she joined the Isle of Thanet Gazette and Thanet Times, based in Margate, Kent, as a trainee reporter. She went on to become a senior reporter and sub-editor, before moving to the Kettering-based Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph as a reporter last year. She was later promoted to deputy news editor, based in the paper's Wellingborough office.
