MAPLE Commercial Vehicle Security has provided the security measures needed to keep West Lothian Council's new batch of fleet vehicles in safe hands. The fleet has been updated with 30 new vehicles following Scotland's local government reorganisation, which resulted in West Lothian becoming a unitary authority.

The council now has around 800 vehicles ranging from cars to refuse collection lorries. The latest 30, which include pickups, vans, minibuses and refuse trucks, were replacements for older vehicles. Maple has provided immobilisers for all vehicles over 7.5 tonnes and alarm systems for the light vans.
