PEUGEOT'S car price rises, due to come into force on Monday (January 20), have been postponed following Vauxhall's announcement that air conditioning is now available as standard on all models in the Vectra and Omega ranges.

Peugeot had been planning to increase its car prices by an average of 1.5% from Monday, but delayed the move for a few days to give bosses a chance to take another look at the figures to make sure their prices remain competitive.
