Fast fit phone service for NTA

NATIONAL Tyres and Autocare has launched a fast-fit phone service for its customers. Initially being run on a three-month trial across the Midlands, the new service is primarily aimed at fleet customers and offers a freephone number - 0800 708070 - which drivers can call to arrange on-the-spot service or for their vehicle to be collected, fixed and returned to their home or office.

The service, which echoes the Lex One Call concept of single phone number service, offers customers a range of services including tyres, exhausts, batteries, MOTs and shocks, without the need to visit a branch. It is available to fleet customers at no extra cost, but private customers pay a premium to use the service.

During the trial period the service is being offered between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with same day service on all calls received before 3pm, but times may be extended if demand is high for out-of-hours fitting.
