TEACHING union representatives voted for Vectra after holding a ballot to determine their preferred choice of company car. Regional representatives from the NAS/UWT chose a dozen Vectras as their transport to visit teachers at schools across the country.

NAS/UWT assistant general secretary Bill Herron said: 'Our regional representatives spend a lot of time on the road. We wanted to make sure they were happy with the cars they were driving, but also felt it was important to have one model as standard across the fleet.' The vehicles were all supplied by Vauxhall Business Centre Greenhous in Telford.
