Euro Truck signs five-year deal with water company

EUROTRUCK Contracts has supplied nine Iveco Ford vans to Essex and Suffolk Water in a five-year full service contract hire agreement. The vehicles are part of a business package especially tailored for Essex & Suffolk's requirements, through ECL Network Service Point, Lex Commercials at Enfield. The package includes back-up service, maintenance, tyre replacement and repair and road fund licence.

The contract is composed of eight Iveco Ford Daily vans used by crews working on repairs and a 59.12 Daily with a flatbed body and beavertail, used for moving plant machinery, including diggers and sand skimmers. The vehicles, which are replacements, join a 400-strong fleet which ranges from large commercial trucks to cars.

The vehicles include special racking to carry specialist equipment and are also equipped with public address systems to broadcast messages to the public.
