KEY industry businesses are backing the Fleet Motor Show's move to Donington Park, with leading manufacturers and service companies committing themselves to exhibiting next year. Volkswagen, Honda, Jaguar, Volvo, Saab, Renault and Nissan are among the manufacturers who have already confirmed their presence, while BCH, the AA, AT&T Istel, FCS and Kwik-Fit Fleet are among the major companies who have signed up so far. The show will be held from May 11-14.

Volkswagen has booked the largest single stand at the show, from where it will be introducing the Passat estate and new Golf to fleet customers, along with the rest of its ever-expanding range.

Group events manager with show organiser Emap automotive Chris Lester said: 'We have had tremendous feedback about the move - the vast majority in full support. Obviously it's a big project to move to a new site, but what is exciting us the most is that we feel this is a total new launch of the event, with new branding and new initiatives for our exhibitors.'

One of the latest developments is ELGARS - the electronic lead generation and response system - which enables exhibitors to contact visitors to their stands via fax, telephone or e-mail within 24 hours. The new venue also means easier access for visitors, more hotel accommodation and for the first time, parking on a hard standing for all visitors. Further show details on 01733 467038.
