TIME is running out for fleet managers and fleet decision-makers to book their places at the 1997 Fleet News Roadshows. So far 130 delegates have booked their places at the events to be held at Sopwell House, St Albans on December 2 and The Donington Thistle Hotel, East Midlands Airport on December 9. All delegates will have the opportunity to attend three 75-minute seminars delivered by industry experts from accountant Deloitte & Touche, Shell Fuel and Fleet Services and Swan National. And, at Sopwell House, software specialist Tranman Solutions will be joining the line-up with a demonstration of its systems.

New to the Roadshow line-up is the Institute of Advanced Motorists, which will be demonstrating its hi-tech CD-ROM based driver training package at both venues. In addition at both venues there is a Vauxhall-sponsored helpdesk at which delegates will be able to have their fleet questions answered by a range of industry experts, including representatives of HM Customs & Excise, Vauxhall Master Hire, the Association of Car Fleet Operators and the Institute of Car Fleet Management.

At both roadshows Fleet NewsNet editor Gervais Seymour will be on hand to take interested delegates through the fact-packed and news information source. Delegates will also be able to find out more about cfo (car finance options) - a new product from Fleet News which has been developed in association with CAP Motor Research and Deloitte & Touche - and helps both employees and employers solve the cash or car equation. To attend a roadshow costs £99 plus VAT per person, but ICFM members can obtain a 10% discount on the booking fee.
