Kenning takes on 100 Defenders

KENNING Car Van and Truck Rental is taking delivery of a fleet of 100 Land Rover Defenders for winter use by customers. The rental company has so far taken delivery of 70 vehicles with the remaining 30 due to be delivered this week. The diesel-powered fleet includes Defender 110 Station Wagons, Defender 110 Hard Tops and Defender 90 Hard Tops.

A Kenning spokesman said: 'Every year we get a considerable demand in the hard weather, particularly from the construction industry, local authorities and public utilities, for such vehicles. Our customers must guarantee to keep vital services going so they need four-wheel-drive vehicles. Many of them also need the vehicles' towing capabilities.'

Vehicles are available from all Kenning Car Van and Truck rental outlets from £154 a week.
