Jewson renews FCM deal

SATISFACTION that Fleet Cost Management continues to provide a better service than its competitors was the reason cited by Jewson for renewing its fuel cards and maintenance management deal.

The national chain of builders merchants is a long-standing FCM client. It has a fleet of 700 cars and 150 light commercial vehicles - mainly Ford and Peugeot through a two-badge deal - based at 200 nationwide outlets from Thurso to Penzance.

All the vehicles make use of an FCM fuel card and the fleet management specialist also controls the fleet's entire maintenance spend. Other fleet activities are overseen by company transport manager Steve Kyte from Jewson's Norwich headquarters.
