CITROEN and Nissan are to use the Fleet Motor Show as the platform to launch three new models into the UK fleet market. Citroen is to give UK public debuts to the new Citroen Xantia 2.1TD and 3.0 V6 models, while Nissan will give the new Primera GT its UK public debut at the Show, to be held at Silverstone in Northamptonshire from April 29-May 2.

Full details of the two new Citroen models are not available but the flagship 194bhp V6 model will only be available as an automatic. The new 110bhp Xantia 2.1TD will be in addition to the existing 1.9TD models.

A total of 123 exhibitors have so far booked to attend the 1997 show with the latest companies to book being D C Cook and Radius Computer Services. However, SEAT this week withdrew, leaving 22 vehicle manufacturers exhibiting. With this week's Fleet News is a visitor registration form giving would-be show delegates a further opportunity to register. Pre-registration is a condition of attending the Show and the task can be undertaken either by completing the card or by phoning the pre-registration hotline (0181 390 0203).
