PC users get journey planner

A NEW journey planner combining the latest Ordnance Survey maps with hotel and restaurant guidebooks is now available for PC users.

Developed by Softwair, Personal Navigator is available on CD-ROM and contains the latest database of roads from Ordnance Survey, OS's place name Gazetteer, the complete Royal Mail Postcode database, the Good Pub and Good Weekend Guides and a petrol station database.

An enhanced version incorporating Egon Ronay's Guides is also available and the system can also be used in conjunction with a GPS receiver to act as an in-car navigation system. The basic version costs £99 plus VAT while the Professional version costs £149 plus VAT. Further information is available from Softwair on 07000 784662.
