JAGUAR has increased prices of the XK8 Coupe and Convertible by an average of 1.9%. The Coupe now costs £48,950 and the Convertible £55,950 - a rise of £1,000 on each model.

And Jaguar's new price list now shows on-the-road prices. These include delivery to the dealer, a full tank of unleaded fuel, number plates and 12 months road fund licence. 'These new XK8 prices will apply to vehicles included in the May build programme onwards,' said a spokesman. 'Cars ordered by dealers on the March and April build programmes will remain at the old price.'

New price XK8s will have an added high-mounted brake light and new driver and passenger footwell carpet mats. Two option prices are also increased: computer active technology suspension is now £1,450, while 18-inch alloy wheels go up to £675.
