Figures show VW even more economical

NEW wholelife cost comparison tables from TopCalc on which Volkswagen bases its wholelife cost guarantee scheme reveals there is no manufacturer support for the recently launched Passat.

The figures compare wholelife costs for Volkswagen models against equivalent Ford and Vauxhall vehicles with TopCalc figures predicting the Passat to be more cost-effective to run than equivalent Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Vectra models by up to £1,752 over three years/60,000 miles.

Volkswagen says the new tables reveal that the savings of those Volkswagen cars which have an equivalent Ford or Vauxhall have increased by an average 6% over the last quarter's tables. To register for Volkswagen's wholelife cost guarantee scheme telephone 0800 716994.
