NCA chief in charity bid

NATIONAL Car Auctions' chief executive Ron Leader is aiming to raise at least £30,000 for the NSPCC and the Williams Syndrome Foundation - his 14-year-old daughter Hannah suffers from the rare genetic condition - by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Kenya later this year.

Leader (43) has pledged to split the cash between the two charities and will be in a party of 30 climbers which will start the trek on September 19. After eight days climbing Leader hopes to be one of 15 team members who will reach the top of the 20,000 foot peak.

To sponsor Ron Leader contact Wendy Rowland for a sponsorship form on 01206 255502.
