Lada gives up UK imports

LADA importer Motor Vehicle Imports has confirmed it is to cease imports of the Russian car after encountering difficulties making the engines comply with European emissions legislation.

Although dealers still have a stockpile of several hundred new vehicles, no new stocks will be arriving from the factory, but the franchise network will continue to offer warranty cover and servicing for the next five years.
