TWO very different prizes were won at this year's Fleet Motor Show - a free site on the internet and the more traditional bottle of bubbly. Banbury automotive marketing firm Woods and Seaton will receive a £2,000 web site courtesy of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association as a result of success in their competition, in which contestants had to guess how many visits were made to the BVRLA internet site during the show at Silverstone.
Coming closest to the correct number of 4007 with his prediction, Mike Russell-Carter was presented with the 15 page internet site by Norman Donkin, secretary general of the BVRLA, with Andrew Libra, Customer Service Manager of Business to Business Internet and managers of the BVRLA's Internet gateway also present.
Admin and Systems Coordinator with AA Workshop Services of Weybridge Mark Davies also made a name for himself at the show - as a rally star of the future - by accelerating to victory on the Fleetlease rally simulator driving challenge. Davies collected a bottle of champagne for his record time of 56.6 seconds.
