RYLAND Multifleet's ground-breaking fleet deal with the British Chamber of Commerce has moved up a gear with the launch of Chamber Fleet. The two-year-old deal, which, when launched to the Chamber's 200,000 member-businesses was believed to be the largest of its kind, was originally a three-year contract and still has a year to run.

Chamber businesses now accounts for 10% of Ryland's overall new business and the proportion continues to grow as the Solihull-based contract hire company's fleet passes the 10,000-vehicle mark. Originally branded as the British Chamber of Commerce Fleet Programme and now renamed Chamber Fleet, it is expected to take a higher profile following the rationalisation of member services.

Chamber members can gather advice from Ryland Multifleet on funding and leasing arrangements and tap into the company's fleet management programme, Ryland Fleet Solutions. Vehicles are typically sourced from local dealers which will also generate new business opportunities of mutual benefit.
