Second Honda price realignment

HONDA has increased prices by an average 0.6% in its second price realignment of the year. Honda has also increased its delivery charges by £25 to £475 to 'bring it into line with other manufacturers', affecting the on-the-road price of all vehicles.

Certain models escape the increase, and the entry level Accord 1.8i is actually reduced by £30 to keep it under the £15,000 mark following the delivery charge increase. But the popular Civic and Accord ranges are subject to between 1% and 2% hikes.

Sample prices prices on the road (old prices in brackets) are: Civic 3-dr 1.5LS s/r £14,030 (£13,745), Civic 3-dr 1.6VTi a/c £16,815 (£16,790), Civic 4-dr 1.5LS a/c £15,590 (£15,285), Civic 5-dr 1.4i s/r £12,520 (£12,495), Civic 5-dr 2.0TD s/r £15,020 (£14,995), Accord 1.8i s/r £14,990 (£14,995), Accord 2.0i LS a/c £17,465 (£17,440), Accord 2.0TD s/r £18,815 (£18,790), CRV 2.0i ES a/c £18,220 (£17,995), Shuttle a/c 2.2i LS £18,020 (£17,995), Prelude 2.2VTi a/c £22,490 (£22,295), Legend £34,020 (£33,995).
