BCH Vehicle Management Services has become the latest contract hire and leasing company to launch a personal car purchase scheme. Called Autochoice, customers can contact a dedicated Autochoice team to order any make or model of new or used car. Finance will then be arranged either as a PCP, outright purchase or traditional hire purchase and allowing buyers to take advantage of BCH's national buying power.

The programme has kicked off with a number of sports personalities using Autochoice, including England rugby international Simon Shaw with a new Audi Cabriolet and Ed Morrison, the international rugby referee, choosing a Ford Mondeo. Mel Dawson, BCH's commercial director, said: 'PCPs are set to grow in popularity in this country, particularly with the likelihood of increased taxation on the company car. But for some people PCPs are not the most appropriate option so we have extended Autochoice to encompass more traditional finance methods to offer complete flexibility.

'Many companies are looking at alternatives to the company car and we have an additional market evolving - a corporate-retail market - where companies are offering a cash for car option and promoting Autochoice to all employees, not just company car drivers.'
