CFC targets emergency fleets

LEADING fleet management and workshop software supplier Car Fleet Control has launched a new department dedicated to serving 'blue light' fleets. The company currently counts around 20 police forces and half-a-dozen fire brigades and ambulance services among its customers and has recently exhibited at both Ambex '97 - the ambulance trade show - and Fire '97.

The new emergency team will be headed by David Levens, sales manager for major accounts. He will be joined by Nick Williamson, whose fleet management experience includes several years in charge of the Nationwide fleet and activity within the Association of Car Fleet Operators.
