First Mutual installs Henley hire management system

CARDIFF-based First Mutual Contracts has installed David Henley Systems' contract hire fleet management system Fleetman after a two-year development period. John Tumelty, FMC's operations director, said the new system would enable the company to improve radically its management of information.

'The new disciplines and controls inherent in Fleetman will ensure our customers receive the most efficient and proactive service available within the contract hire industry,' he said. Fleetman was developed using Borland Delphi with an Oracle database, and has been designed to be fully year 2000 compliant.
