Jeremy is GE's £25m salesman of the year

NEW business totalling £25 million won Jeremy Heron the salesman of the year title at GE Capital Fleet Services. Heron, who leads the northern new business team, was presented with the keys to a BMW 840i Coupe for use as his company car by GE Capital Fleet Services managing director Jonathan Burr and also received an engraved crystal award to mark his achievement. A Concorde trip to Greenland will follow.

Burr said: 'In a year when everyone made an enormous effort to move GE Capital Fleet Services to the premier position in quality and performance, Jeremy's tenacious attitude and determined spirit was truly outstanding. He exemplifies the 'first division' performance of all our sales teams, delivering best advice and best solutions to customers - key factors which made 1997 such an exceptional growth year.'
