VAUXHALL has completely restructured its fleet department to generate greater focus on specific customer groups. The reorganisation has created seven fleet sub-divisions, each one catering for a different sector in the fleet market, the company announced at the British International Motor Show.

The reshuffle has merged Vauxhall's national account and business user field teams to create an enlarged field fleet sales team, led by Maurice Howkins, to concentrate on fleets running between 25 and 500 vehicles. It has also established a new strategy and development division under Paul Clark which will be responsible for developing Vauxhall's fleet specialist dealer network and new finance products for both companies and individuals.

Bill Parfitt, Vauxhall's fleet operations director, said: 'The changes are designed to make it easier for our customers to get straight to the department they want, and for us to focus on different segments, such as small to medium sized fleets and user-choosers.'
