Vauxhall Movano prices announced

THE Movano, Vauxhall's significant re-entry into the heavy van sector with a combinations in the 2.8-3.5-tonne GVW segment, goes on sale on January 8 with prices starting at £13,325. Operators are offered the choice between 0% finance - after a 50% deposit, the payments for the balance are spread over 24 months - or a £750 finance deposit allowance to be coupled with either Smartlease tailored payments or Special Rate Finance, where deposits start at 20% and payment is spread over 24 or 36 months.

The Renault Master-based van comes in three base versions - panel van, chassis cab and chassis crew cab - with a choice of three wheelbases, three roof heights and two engines. Five body conversions are offered - a tipper, box van, luton van, dropside and service van.

An 80bhp 2.5-litre diesel is the standard engine with the option of a 115PS 2.8-litre direct injection turbodiesel, both coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. Servicing intervals are every 15,000 miles, the 2.5-litre engine needs an oil change at 7,500 miles and there's a special service plan for high-mileage vehicles at 24,000 miles.

It will be sold through Vauxhall's 200 specialist van retailers who have implemented additional tough franchise standards focused on meeting the demands of commercial vehicle operatorsThe van has Vauxhall's commercial vehicle one-year unlimited mileage warranty and six year anti-perforation warranty.
