SUPERMARKET giant Kwik Save has signed up with VELO Motor Accident Management for its 600-strong car fleet. Marlow-based VELO won the deal from a rival after Kwik Save decided its incumbent supplier of accident management focused mainly on the standard of service delivered to drivers, but did not provide sufficient risk management information.

VELO beat a short list of five, convincing Kwik Save it could provide the required information and analysis on how and why accidents happened, as well as deliver the services required by drivers and off-road staff.

Andrew Warren, Kwik Save's insurance claims manager, said: 'VELO came out on top because they were the strongest on service, because of their position in the market and because of their competitive price. We needed to match the standard of service provided to our drivers with a good flow of information about what was happening and where costs were arising with regard to accidents.'
