DOVERCOURT Ford has secured a £10 million solus fleet deal to supply a minimum of almost 400 vehicles over three years to Chelmsford Taxibus and Chelmsford Minicabs. The new all-Ford fleet will be supplied and maintained by a recently-established local business centre set up by Dovercourt as part of its Chelmsford dealership.

Under the deal, the two sister companies will buy 60 top of the range Transit minibuses every year for at least the next three years, plus 70 Galaxy MPVs annually over the same period. Some of the vehicles are expected to be changed three times a year having clocked up about 50,000 miles.
