PEUGEOT'S recently launched 306 estate has found its first police customer with an order for 20 vehicles from Strathclyde.

The specially equipped diesels were chosen on the basis of their increased carrying capacity, reliability and low running costs by the force responsible for patrolling Britain's largest geographical area. The vehicles could potentially be in service 24 hours a day, with up to 60 different drivers using them in a typical week.
