Trial leads to launch of police spec Primera

NISSAN has launched a specially adapted police specification Primera after conducting a year-long trial with Hampshire Constabulary. Based on the GX model, the new police Primera features the suspension, engine and transmission from the high performance 2.0 GT. Standard specification also includes a passenger airbag and four-way adjustable passenger seat with lumbar support.

The police Primera was developed in close co-operation with senior members of the National Association of Police Fleet Managers, who were able to advise on their special needs. Nissan is also backing the new vehicle with a specially extended three-year/100,000-mile warranty and will supply vehicles in full livery if required.
