Revamped Laguna ready for May launch

RENAULT has released the first details of its new Laguna which will be officially launched in Britain on May 7. The revamped Laguna features two new engines - a 1.6 16V 110bhp petrol unit and 1.9dTi 100bhp turbodiesel, with a new 120bhp 1.8 16V petrol engine to follow.

ABS and a CD player are standard across the range, while air conditioning and electric sunroof are standard from the 1.8 RT upwards. Externally, the upper medium contender will feature restyled bumpers, and a host of bright new colours. The new Laguna will be on display at the Fleet Motor Show at Donington Park from May 11-14.

Sample on-the-road prices: Renault Laguna 1.6 RN £13,420, 2.0 RT £14,920, dTi RN £14,420, dTi RT £15,420. Renault Laguna estate 1.6 RN £14,370, 2.0 RT £15,870, dTi RN £15,370, dTi RT £16,370.
