Light commercial vehicles given higher profile

FIFTEEN companies - including four van manufacturers - are to exhibit in the special Light Commercials Centre at the Fleet Motor Show. Specialist van builder LDV, which recently signed a joint van-building venture with Daewoo, is exhibiting in the hall alongside the commercial vehicle arms of Toyota (GB), Vauxhall Motors and Volkswagen.

And joining those companies in the Light Commercials Centre are: accessories supplier Autopia Vanquip, Brink UK, Island Plastics, Kenning Car Van and Truck Rental, Mastervolt UK, Orchid, PHH Truck Management Services, Signs Express, accessories supplier The Van Liners, Tickford and Transco. Event manager Chris Lester said: 'The LCV market is going through a period of sustained growth and it is important that the Fleet Motor Show provides a platform for all fleet vehicles.'
