The operation is based at a new £4 million flagship site at Greenham Park, near Newbury, Berks, and a further six locations around the country have been identified as centres which will handle fleet business. Vehicles will undergo PDI by qualified staff and Walon will carry out any necessary work such as fitting sunroofs, CD players or phones before delivery.
Walon will also recommend the most profitable remarketing routes, and regular management reports will keep clients informed, with updates daily, weekly or monthly. Walon managing director Roger Anderson said: 'This new division will provide a centre of excellence for the fleet sector, dramatically challenging established industry standards.'
