NISSAN has announced on-the-road prices for a string of new models including the Primera estate and facelifted Almera. Prices for the six-model estate line-up start at £15,995 for the 1.6- litre 16v GX with standard equipment including driver's airbag, air conditioning, ABS and roof rails.

With 2.0-litre 16v and 2.0-litre TD GX models costing £16,595. SLX models powered by a choice of either 2.0-litre 16v or 2.0-litre TD models cost £17,655 and the range-topping 2.0-litre 16v SE costs £19,625 with standard specification including leather trim and six CD autochanger. GX estate models cost £870 more than four- and five-door Primera models with SLX models carrying a £930 premium and the SE model a £900 premium. Automatic transmission on 2.0-litre estate petrol models costs £895.
