Boost in orders leads to Platinum expansion drive

A BOOST in car orders at fleet specialist Wakefield-based Platinum Group of Companies after it opened a London dealership has created an expansion drive. The firm, which consists of three companies, covering vehicle sourcing, fleet management and accident management, is increasing sales staff in the capital to deal with the number of orders it has received there since opening in January.

The three-year-old firm is also taking on more employees at its headquarters as part of an overall push for new business. It has a fleet of 350 vehicles and employs nine staff, which will have expanded to 13 once the present phase of recruitment is complete.
